Beijing announced on November 1 that it will host the next APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting in Shenzhen in November 2026. Chinese President Xi Jinping confirmed this while concluding this year’s APEC summit held in Gyeongju, South Korea.
The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit will gather leaders from 21 nations across the region, reaffirming China’s commitment to international cooperation and trade.
