Jammu & Kashmir Service Selection Board again failed to reconducting the Graduate level Exam: NSUI
In a press statement Ajay Kumar, National Delegate National Students Union of India (NSUI) boasted for the cancellation of Graduate level Exam reconducting by Jammu & Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) on 27th of April, 2017. He further urged that time and again failure of Jammu & Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) , a recruiting agency of J&K State, in conducting free and fair examination, maladministration within the agency and burdensome fee of the recruitment is adding to the woes of thousands of unemployed youth of J&K .
Ajay further added that the Jammu & Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) has already failed to conduct the same examination earlier at many instances. He said that their was mass copying during the December 25th 2015, examination for Graduate level post, proof of which got viral on social media.
Recent failure of Jammu & Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) in conducting fair examination can well be gauged from the incident at examination center Govt. Hr Schools Boy’s, Bhaderwah.
Moreover, decision of Jammu & Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) at the eleventh hour to change the center of candidates of Kishtwar district, further aggrieved their problem it added to the misery of those hundreds of aspirants who after fighting with all the odds of weather blockage of Kishtwar highway due to land slides, reached the center for examination but were not provided OMR sheets & question papers on time and there was a subsequent delay in providing the same.
Ajay alleged complete administrative failure of the Government & its state recruitment agency.
The Jammu & Kashmir Service Selection Board has failed in every aspect. The youth of Jammu & Kashmir have lost faith in the agency.
In his concluding remarks Ajay Kumar pressed for enquiry in the matter & demanded that JKSSB should be dissolved and a new independent recruitment agency should be created in its place which must be competent to conduct such examination in the time frame manner with greater transparency and hence reliability.
