Vision Matrix in Collaboration with J&K Police under Civic Action Program
With an objective of economic, social and personal development of Jammu & Kashmir youth, J&K
Police & Vision Matrix under joint collaboration launched a Mentor–Mentee virtual platform for
Jammu & Kashmir Youth under the Civic Action Program on 19 January 2018 in J&K Police
Headquarters, Jammu.
In the keynote address DGP Sh Shesh Paul Vaid empowered the youth of Jammu & Kashmir with his
words of wisdom and appreciated the collaborative efforts of Vision Matrix and J&K Police. He
addressed youth to find their purpose of life to achieve self-actualization and mentioned the
importance of inculcating the ancient Guru-Shishya culture of character education in the present
system.
“None of the great things in the world have been done in isolation. Vision 2021 is not an ordinary
organisation, it unifies world’s emerging/established leaders to create an environment conducive for
thinking and learning. With an agenda of covering 22 districts across the state, Vision Matrix will be
starting the program with 30 mentees and mentors to provide academic, career, and personal
guidance to mentees for a period of at least one and a half year,” said, the Founder Rachna Sharma.
In the presence of Chief Guest, DGP of Jammu & Kashmir – Mr Shesh Paul Vaid; the Founder of Vision
2021 One Million Youth for Peace – Ms Rachna Sharma; Spl. DGP Mr V.K. Singh; Commandant
General Home Guard/Civil Defence & SDRF J&K Mr Dilbagh Singh; IGP Mr Shafqat Watali; IGP Mr J.P.
Singh; ICHP Mr Surinder Gupta; Vision Matrix mentors, ambassadors/spokespeople; and Jammu &
Kashmir police dignitaries, the launch event witnessed a footfall of an audience of 500 which
included students, professors, principals, senior government officials, influencers, local media and
heads of various educational institutions.
The three hours of break free environment brought together life stories & inspirational talks of
Vision Matrix mentors; and a vibrant open Q&A session for audience /students under one roof, all
with the purpose of empowering Jammu & Kashmir youth with an environment conducive for
thinking & learning to facilitate invention, innovation, creativity, leadership & entrepreneurship.
An eclectic array of speakers included keynote addresser Chief Guest DGP Mr Shesh Paul Vaid; Ms
Rachna Sharma – Founder of Vision 2021 – One Million Youth for Peace; Mr Partha P Roy Chowdhury
– Assistant Vice President Invest India; Ms Deepika Arora – Regional Vice President – Eurasia of
World’s Largest Hotel Chain Wyndham Hotel Group; Mr Shayamal Vallabhjee – Founder of HEAL
Institute, Sports Scientist & High Performance Coach; Ms Bhawna Agarwal – CEO of Gadgets 360; Mr
Ashvini Jakhar – Founder & CEO of E-Commerce company Prozo.com; Mr Mayyur R Girotra –
Founder of one of India’s leading Fashion House Mayyur R Girotra Couture; Mr Sakshi Vij – Founder
of Myles Cars; and Mr Saurav Arora – Founder of imhere24x7.
The Jammu & Kashmir Police dignitaries graced the event with their keynote addresses to the
student community of Jammu & Kashmir.
